Please join us in giving her a warm Boulder welcome!
A Passion for People and Preventative Health
From the moment you meet Zoe, her genuine passion for helping people shines through. She is a board-certified Physician Assistant who is a strong advocate for holistic and preventative health. Her approach is rooted in a deep commitment to putting patients first, ensuring every person feels truly valued and supported throughout their health journey.
Zoe believes in empowering you with knowledge and gently guiding you to make informed decisions about your skin. She understands that dermatology care can feel deeply personal, and she is dedicated to creating a comfortable and caring environment for every patient. By building trust and working together, she helps restore confidence in your healthcare journey.
Before earning her master’s in physician assistant studies, Zoe pursued a master’s in public health, which informs her evidence-based practice. She loves reviewing new medications and treatments to ensure her patients receive the most up-to-date, personalized medical care available.
From New Hampshire to the Flatirons
Zoe and her family, originally from New Hampshire, are thrilled to be part of the Boulder community. A true outdoor enthusiast, she enjoys hiking with her young family and exploring local trails with her two dogs.
Making the move to a new climate comes with its own set of challenges, especially for skin. Zoe shared some of her personal thoughts on adapting to Boulder’s famously dry and sunny environment.

“I am nervous about my skin coming to Boulder!” she admits. “Our winters in New Hampshire are brutal, but all I keep hearing is how dry my skin is going to feel. I think I will likely be doubling down on my sunblock and then using Vaseline for extra dry days.”
Zoe’s Skincare Tips for Boulder’s Climate
Zoe is a minimalist when it comes to skincare, a philosophy that many of her patients appreciate. She believes in a simple, effective routine. Here are some of her go-to tips for keeping skin healthy and hydrated in our high-altitude environment.
1. Simplify Your Cleansing Routine
To combat dryness, Zoe recommends washing your face just once daily with a gentle cleanser. This helps protect your skin’s natural moisture barrier. Her go-to choice is often a simple and effective cleanser like Cetaphil.
2. Moisturize, Moisturize, Moisturize
A good moisturizer is essential. For daytime, Zoe loves EltaMD products or, for a budget-friendly option, Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Cream. At night, she recommends a triple repair moisturizer to deeply nourish and restore the skin while you sleep.
3. Smart Serum Use
Zoe is typically a fan of using a vitamin C serum and a retinol. However, she plans to be cautious as her skin adjusts. “I will likely hold off while my skin is acclimating to more sunshine!” she explains. This is a great reminder to listen to your skin and adjust your routine based on its needs.
Come Say Hello!
Zoe is genuinely excited about building lasting relationships with her new patients here in Boulder. She is particularly passionate about treating atopic dermatitis (especially in children!), psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa, and all types of skin cancers.
We are so grateful to have Zoe’s expertise, dedication, and compassionate approach as part of our practice. Her commitment to individualized care and her warm personality make her a wonderful addition to our team.

We invite you to schedule an appointment and get to know her. Welcome to the K2 Derm family, Zoe!
